This Is Just Sad

Sad, but not surprising.

Anyone laboring under the illusion that they actually like Popcorn..(uh, Steven) is delusional.

@Ace. Judging by Axl's size over the last few years,I would've bet he was quite fond of popcorn, along with every other snack food on the face of the earth....😛😛 (On the serious side, this reaffirms my feelings that Mr. Bailey is almost certainly a bi polar assclown???)

Yeah to that Gary.

It's all way to simple. I don't believe in karma. Karma's a cool name for a dog. That's about it.

These guys bled, worked, partied and cried during the renaissance of rock; the '80's. They also came out of that period, KINGS. Unless there are reasons unbeknownst to us, Axl, Slash and Duff are just heartless. The songs are Guns N Rose. Steven and Izzy are 40% of THE BAND.

Hence why this band hasn't gotten a penny from me since the soul-less Illusion albums.

I know I may be in the minority on this one; but it's the truth.

After reading that article, Adler comes across as a nice, likaable, classy guy. AXL comes across as one big giant turd.

And the show I saw last July was definitely missing something.

simply as a clarification. in the original GNR contract, the split was supposed to be that each member got 20%. However, Bailey got 25% and Steve got 15%. Izzy, Duff and Slash got 20%. Some asshole wouldn't sign unless he got a bigger piece of the pie, so adler stood down just to keep GNR going. Hmmm...I wonder who that trump...I mean bitch was who was taking his ball and leaving with it because s/he wasn't getting his/her way.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

oh, and Sebastian says in his book that Axl said that he always admired Jon Bon Jovi's financial skill. Perhaps he should look at jon and dorothea's humanitarian actions instead.
February 24, 2017 | Unregistered Commenterfletch
oh thee irony, when Sebastian sings on stage repeatedly..."Every time I sing 'I remember you" jon gets a piece of it".

yet, axl takes bas on tour.

Completely different subject for those on Spotify

Metalboy! (s) 70s Power Rock Playlist is up minus one song ( Somebody Like You by Trigger isn't available). Just search on the term "70s Power Rock"

Peace.

who?

@fletch. Amen on Bon Jovi and the Mrs.'s charitable efforts. I'm the first to hammer him, but the dude gives back in spades. Somehow me thinks Mr. Bailey could learn a helluva lot from him on that front. JBJ gets it on the humanitarian front. Axl has proven time and again that he gets it on the being an antisocial jizzbag and surrounding myself with yes men to tell me how awesome I am front.

Kixchix post sums it up beautifully. And I'm in that minority with you buddy, as the last $$ I spent on Guns was the Use Your Illusion cd 😳 LMFAO They'll always be one of my favorites, but I won't go to see 'em, not when they're hosing 40% of the band in the name of the almighty dollar . They're literally playing 45 minutes from me in Hershey PA this summer. I however, will be 45 minutes North of them drinking beer on my front porch that day, good lord willing... 👍

Steven got in because of the other guys, Axl would never have let him in at all if the other guys didn't ask to throw him a bone. Axl knows the general public really only cares about Slash and Duff, other than him.

me too, gar...me too...gosh (I mean Christ) willing.

as someone said to me a couple of years ago (She knew me since I was 13yo). She said at someone's funeral after I got up and spoke about the deceased.

She said, "I thought you were strange, and I never really liked you. But gar...don't ever change." I replied..."I don't intend to...and thank you very much for your compliment".

It means a lot.

It really is unfortunate Axl can't step up more when it comes to Adler but Ace eludes to what appears to be damage between those two which apparently can never be repaired. However, it is amazing Axl can't patch it up with him the same way his situation with Slash got hugged out. At least he went along with supporting Adler as far as granting him his lifelong dream to get back on stage with Guns N' Roses, even if it was only for 10 minutes per appearance. And he did introduce him.

I know you said it felt like something was missing when you saw them but that was probably more Izzy than Steven as Adler has a hard time nailing it anymore as evidenced by video of his recent performances with Gn'R.

GNR! That is amazing! YOU are SO awesome for putting that playlist out to the world! I will check it out! FYI, Trigger's once elusive sleeper classic eponynous album originally released on Casablanca in 1978 was finally issued on CD by Rock Candy in 2009. There are a few on Ebay and are well worth the 10 bucks. Kicka*s!!!

p.s. Rock Candy is a phenomenal label specializing in reissues, many with hard to find or never before released bonus tracks but beware, buying from their catalogue can get addictive!

Saw these guys perform a week or so ago here in Perth Western Australia and while the show was great to see and hear, I came away thinking none of them really like each other. It was like 4 solo performers up front on stage with little or any interaction ...

from David Lee Roth's mount to these bona fide lips (and the authenticity of BBG!):

There goes another satisfied customer.

Billions and Billions served everyday.

Should be a McDonalds commercial.
