Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 12:01AM
Def Leppard will launch their very first beer later this month. The Brits will team up with Seattle’s Elysian Brewing Company. Def Leppard Pale Comes out May 23. I hope this makes it way to Ohio. I would love to try it!

But this trend seems strained to me in terms of the publicity it generates. And that name? Beyond an epic fail in its lack of creativity, save for the fact that they were pale English lads back in the day.
No Pour Some Porter on Me? No Bludgeon-Drinkola Stout? No Armageddon It IPA?
What's next? Gene Simmons being a spokesperson for a marijuana company? Oh wait.
“All I’ve got is a photograph. You’ve gone straight to my head.”
Hey, where’s “Brett Michaels’ Pale Ale” which would be produced by Pabst and taste like ... um ... well, you know...
Oh, Metalboy!, how about "Me and My Wine Coolers"? I bet that would be a big hit with DL's demographic!
@Him Ditto!! How about old school Lep and we'll cove the light beer: On through the Light (and straight to the urinal) 😂😂
@Shawn. I haven't. Not a fan of craft beer. I'm. More of a Miller Lite guy (if I drank craft, I'd be like 400 lb instead of the dad bodded 225 I currently am) 😂😂😂😂
Shawn, I once got drunk on Iron Maiden Trooper Ale because this British dude who owns an English Pub around the corner from me is good friends with Bruce Dickinson, who sends him the stuff by the case load (actually, cases load!). It’s actually not bad.
And, Gogmagog, it’s definitely worth it for the bottle as a souvenir. It’s got one of the coolest labels out there. I still wanna try Mustaine’s brew, as well, just for the bottle alone. I had one in my hand, ‘til this chick decided to Indian give it from me. Needless to say, I had to jettison her for that!
craft this, People!
I think its a pretty cool marketing thing though, as long as it's a quality product. I know Mastodon and Megadeth have done it and I've heard they were pretty good. The only one I've tried is Iron Maidens and it is actually pretty good, and like Metalboy! Says it's got one of the coolest labels.
