Sammy Hagar Announces High Tide Music Festival

High Tide Music Festival will take place October 6 in Huntington Beach, California. The fest will feature Hagar and his friends jamming, with different music types. He calls it a world music festival. There will also be a car show and food trucks.

No information on tickets yet - I'm assuming that will be out very soon.

If I wasn't already going across Country for Roclahoma this year...I'd probably have gone to this instead. Sammy Hagar and Friends on the California Beach...doesn't get much better.

Love Sammy. Wish I could see this. Guaranteed good time with Sammy at the helm. I can just imagine the "friends" that'll be there. Other than the bros Van Halen and Diamond Dave, Dude is buds with about 85% of the rock world.

The article was quite informative. A good read with some nicely self-effacing comments from Hagar.

Not sure I want to go to a World Music Festival hosted by the Red Rocker, where every other act is only given around 30 minutes to play. Then again, never been that much of a fan (even if I admire his entrepreneurial spirit and, as I have said before, bet he would be fun to drink with). Still, for those so inclined, you could do far worse.

Hope someone here goes and posts some comments (and photos). We need more poster contributions highlighting events some/most of us miss. Let us live through each other!
