The film Bohemian Rhapsody will hit theaters on November 2 and now we've finally got a first look at the full trailer. This movie is going to be amazing. It's telling that 20th Century Fox is releasing it during the big holiday movie rush.

Can't wait. Freddy was the best frontman in history of rock (and yes, that is an opinion).

I must say, given that I almost always cringe when things like this are announced, that this looks so much more promising that The Dirt. Cautiously optimistic.

Agreed. Watched the trailer on Badlands tip a couple of days ago. It actually looks pretty good. Unexpected casting but it seems like Rami Malek, best known for his role in “I ROBOT”, more than pulls off his portrayal of Mercury and it could even be his big break!

p.s. According to someone I know who was an extra in “The Dirt” for a concert scene shot in New Orleans, the Crüe biopic seems like it could turn out to be a decent movie (or should I say, “indecent”, haha!!)! She also remarked the actors playing members of the band come across surprisingly well!

Thanks, Shawn, but in reality, I occassionally hear things, have a few stories about chance meetings with some of our various heroes from The Monsters of Rock Cruise, the occassional show now and from back in the day.

But you’re right! Where is Ace?! For it is Ace, much to the chagrin of a few certain others who comment on this site, who lived it. He was not only there at Cruë’s first show in Hollywood, he filmed it. He used to buy his booze from Danny Stag, ex-lead guitarist of Kingdom Come, who’s now a clerk at the local Sunset Strip liquor store that’s still around long after Ace used to live there.

And Ace was a fixture on The Strip, a personal friend of Randy Rhoads and also played guitar in his own band, ACTRESS, which performed at The Roxy, Gazarri’s and The Troub there regularly.

Also, Shawn, I want you to know you, more than almost anyone, along with Allyson, Bob, Funny Gary and Badland, have given me more tips about new bands, some of which are my current favorites, than anyone else I know! Thank you for that and may you ROCK ‘til you drop, My Metal Brother!!! \m/
