Aerosmith Donate Gear to MusiCares Auction

MusiCares is a charity that Aerosmith supports a lot. In fact, the nonprofit named Aerosmith "Person of the Year." MusiCares is holding an online auction to raise funds. The auction started yesterday and goes until Jan. 24. As you would expect, the stuff is expensive. There is a Brad Whitford guitar that starts at $350 with no bids yet. I'd like to have it as a piece of art but I'm sure the price will go sky high. But this is something I will watch.

The mission statement of MusiCares:

MusiCares' services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies, and each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. MusiCares also focuses the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly influence the health and welfare of the music community."
