So It Is Officially Christmas Music Season...

Get ready for an onslaught of Christmas music. Heck, all the "Black Friday" sales will apparently start this weekend or something equally insane. It seems like everyone is in a rush for the holiday season this year. Maybe it is because Christmas means the New Year is just around the corner. Or maybe it is because people want something to look forward to... at any rate, I am not a big fan of Christmas music and now it will be hard to avoid.

From my inbox, the Goo Goo Dolls have a new holiday track. It sounds like every other Goo Goo Dolls song ever recorded, so I give them props for consistency at least.

Long way from a rocker like "Long Way Down". Saw these guys a couple of times, they put on a decent show. A little more edgier live when I saw them then some of the AOR fluff they play.

About 1:27 of the song, as Allyson points out is the same sound or song they've always put out, you can simply just here "Iris" for pete's sake. "And sooner or later it's over
