New Richie Kotzen Video!

Happy Easter!

Today we have some new music from my beloved guitarist Richie Kotzen. He made a video for his song "As You Are" while in isolation. His wife directed the clip.

"As You Are" is on Kotzen's new album 50 for 50.

The video made me laugh because it is just Richie randomly dancing and playing in his kitchen. His cell phone is plugged in to a charger on the counter and he eats a bag of Skinny Pop sitting out, too. Plus he's wearing weird pajamas so what is there not to like? Everyone is going nuts at this point. At least this was a productive project for him!

I guess Richie Kotzen is a good guitarist, everybody says so, and maybe he's a good guy now.

But personally, I can't forgive the guy for screwing Rikki's girlfriend while he was in Poison, where he was totally not a fit to start with. Yes, I know some folks love "Native Tongue" album as it's Poison "all grown up" ... well, I just can't stand that album and he played on it.

I watched some youtube video's of Poison with Richie, and it's just so wrong. No CC, no Poison.

Sorry, didn't mean to steal the thread, but to me, that's his legacy. I'm sure he's doing OK though, I didn't watch this video but the description seems like he's having fun. No ill will towards him, just not a fan.

As always - he just doesn't have the "voice" to carry himself farther than what he wants to be for popularity.

As for screwing around with Rikki's fiance, that's so rock n roll... takes two tango and I wasn't there. Pretty sure this isn't the first band to ever deal with being eskimo brothers at the wrong time.
