The Return of 'Beavis and Butt-head'

Comedy Central has revived Beavis and Butt-head. Creator Mike Judge will bring the show back for two seasons (at least). Do you think the duo will mock newer bands or will they still make fun of Winger?

Betcha they mock the new video hits of all the current top acts:

Billie Eilish, Lady GaGa, K-Pop, that “Old Town Road” dude, you name it, NO one will be spared!

So stoked as these guys were my idols back in the day. A big part of it is the fact my friend Dave and I acted like these karacterz WAY BEFORE they were created ... We were already talking and laughing like them before they hit MTV.

I bet the likes of Eilish, GaGa, Taylor Swift and whoever else B & B are gonna nail to the cross will be honored to have a send up about them!

I do hope they also hammer the harder acts like Ghost, Ozzy, Rammstein, Greta Van Fleet (imagine them making fun of the latter, their bad clothes and all, haha!!), etc. plus ones that REALLY deserve it like Sixx A.M., Nickleback and whoever else who’s cheesy like that, haha!!

Can’t wait to watch!

I, for one, will look forward to this! Back in college we used to think these guys were hilarious. And maybe we can be hopeful it will give '80s hard rock and heavy metal a little additional exposure? Hopefully mostly of the positive nature...I think Winger has suffered enough already :)

When my buddy and I worked as bouncers at a country bar, we used to imitate Beavis and Butthead. There was a rather uppity lady who would come in, frequently bashing the employees. She once mocked our intelligence and said we'd never get anywhere in life. I said I had been accepted to med school and my buddy informed her that he was an engineer. Her jaw just dropped and she was stunned silent.

I just hope if they bring it back, it's gonna be the same. We don't want a toned down, more pc beavis & butthead. Well, im sure a lot do, but not the ppl that have been watching from the beginning. But i can just see the language/sexism complaints now. Smgdh
