SIXX: A.M. Release Lyric Video For 'The First 21'

SIXX: A.M. is back with new music. The band's new song is called "The First 21" which is also the title of Nikki Sixx's new book due later this month. The lyric video below features images of Nikki as a kid. The song is obviously inspired by the book.

SIXX: A.M. will release Hits later this month and "The First 21" is on that album. In all, Hits will feature six new tracks total plus a compilation of the most famous SIXX: A.M. tracks to date.

Glad Nikki is making music. But how narcissistic is he that he thinks people want Frank Ferrara tshirts or truly care that much about his first 21 years? Not really interested Nikki. Besides your wife and kids I wonder who wants your merch.

I actually wish Sixx would stop making music. I wish he would assume a role of elder statesman, which would certainly feed his narcissism (as Kixckix points out). But, if the role fits, right? There are surely some labels that want this guy wandering around putting his 'Midas Touch' on new bands trying to make it.

Curate some truly interesting MC stuff from the vaults. Act like Page has done with Zep.

Really get inspired and put out something that competes with your past. Not matches it. I get it. He is older now. But something that sounds energetic, vigorous, alive.

Sounds like somebody desperately trying to imitate Enuff Z'Nuff (who also worships the Beatles, but does it way better than this).

I'd also say Autotune ruins everything, but I say that about every new song I hear these days.
