November is the official 44th anniversary of Def Leppard becoming a band. Today is the last day of the month, so the Leps marked the anniversary with a Tweet. They are asking for fans to share their favorite songs and memories. The same post is on Facebook. All you need to do to share your memories is to reply to either social post. It's always fun for me to read people's responses to questions like the one posted below.

"Sharing a Fun Def Leppard Tweet" . . . what would they have thought of that idea, forty-plus years ago? It wouldn't have even made sense. Ah, time.

But I am sure the minders of all their accounts will pluck and pick appropriately. Time flies, and clicks now count. And it's all good. DL are a well-oiled (giggle) machine. They made some great songs. They followed a path. They ruled the world for a brief moment in time. And they became the An Chovi of the NWOBHM. But we are still talking about them, aren't we? And they are still touring constantly. And they sound . . . good. Again, forty-plus years!

Good job, fellas! You deserve it.
