Steel Panther and Travis Tritt Rock Out

I'm no country fan, but Travis Tritt has been around forever so I'm familiar with some of his songs. I also think I ate at one of his restaurants once. Steel Panther love to have celebs join them on stage during shows, and Travis Tritt is the most recent on-stage guest. The crowd seems to enjoy it, even if it wasn't a traditional country-loving bunch. All in good fun and rock and roll, right?

That was quite the yelp that Tritt let out! DLR would be proud.

SP are, alas, an acquired taste. And some of their 'song and dance' has grown a bit stale. But they do bring it live, esp. if you don't mind some yuck-yuck joking occupying the set list! Me? I don't mind at all. As this video shows (somewhat), they welcome anyone to the party if you are willing to party with them! I can't fathom going to a SP show and not knowing what you are going to get.

My hope is that, with the dead weight of Lexxi gone (I kid, of course), they might return to their glory days and continue to regale us with metal music that both pokes fun at, and celebrates, the metal we all love.
