So Apparently There Is A Metal Peloton Channel
Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 02:43PM
According to the Tweet below, Peloton has a metal playlist and now Metallica is part of it, too. You can use the Peloton app without having a branded bike or treadmill. A little more information about the playlist and ride schedule is available on the Pelo Buddy website. I don't personally have the Peloton app right now, but I do have some free credits to access it via one of my credit card benefits. Perhaps I should pull the trigger and check this out.
it’s time to turn up the volume! join us as we rock out to classic cuts from @Spotify's Metal Essentials playlist, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of @Metallica's Black Album–along with all of your other hardcore favorites. classes start 9/8. pic.twitter.com/eHj5rmCA2b

Seriously though, Peloton seems to be in a bit of rough shape these days. Imitators, less than stellar sales, and now discounts?!?!? Geesh. You would think selling this stuff would be as easy as Suzanne Somers hawking the Thighmaster. I mean, really, they are both "seen on TV." Thing is, Peloton lets you get yelled at. Motivation, right? No yelling with the Thighmaster, at least so far as I know.
Me? I just like to walk, eat a balanced diet, and occasionally pick up a dumbbell. Question is, will they let me? Rim-shot!
Hope everyone is doing well. Post more. Post often. Respond more. Respond often.
I figured we were in agreement, Bkallday. But, with us, you never know. Thing is, and I am not violating my self-induced pledge to stop making jokes, Neil would do better to use Peloton than that wiggle machine that was discussed a week or so ago! So I guess there is a spectrum of contraptions to consider. And you made me chuckle. At one point, Tupperware was like Xerox, Googling, and the like. It was the name for that 'thing' you stored your food in . . . until you found it in the back of the fridge, opened it up, and went "What the hell is that?!?!?"
