Sunday's Best: Week 46, 2022

It's Sunday again. My Bengals are on a bye week and Eric and I have been working on repainting my office. I think I'm also finally over a three-week bout of illness that included Influenza A, an inner and outer ear infection in my right ear... and then another trip back to Minute Clinic for an ear infection in my left ear. It's been real. For the first time in about a month I can hear out of both ears! Also, I can't imagine what the flu would have felt like without my vaccine, so get that shot. The body aches are no joke.

It went from basically perfect weather in Ohio... to cold and snow yesterday. It seems like winter is here now, no matter what the calendar says.

In music news, I caught this tweet the other day from John 5. He played some Motley Crue (with his cat!) to prove his ability to step into the very large shoes vacated by Mick Mars. I think he will do a good job as Motley Crue guitarist on the road.

Geezus, Allyson! … I had no idea you were suffering so from the flu and ear infections.

May your recovery continue to it’s now swift end!

I’ve had them in the past and I classify that kind of pain right up there with toothaches, getting shot or stabbed, though the latter two, I’ve never personally experienced (but have come close!) …

p.s. Hilarious video of John 5 and his cat who starts trippin’ toward the end, as it appears to be trying to adjust the volume control on 5’s guitar, haha!!
