So Foreigner Is Retiring...

Mick Jones is hanging it up. Foreigner will spend 2023 on a farewell tour and Loverboy will provide support. The tour starts in early July - so yes, we are getting more and more summer concert announcements now. Good - gives us something to look forward to as the winter weather sets in!

Tickets go on sale November 18 via Live Nation.

Sorry to hear Mick Jones is finally hangin’ up the ol’ Ralph Lauren slippers.

This may be my last chance to finally cross them off my ol’ proverbial buckethead list as they’ve always been a band I’ve meant to see, especially back in the day, off that classic first album. if they happen to come my way! … “Hot Blooded”, indeed!

Fingers crossed Jones will have Lou Gramm in tow for some of these final shows, albeit, selfishly, should I luck out and be able to catch them at a venue near me!

Warm blooded is about the best you will get at this point. Good on them for finally reading the tea leaves. Still a good live act. But that is what they are at this point: an act, where some fans (occasionally) get to see a member that only some in attendance know or care about.

And I say that knowing I will be attending one of those shows, as much for them as for the opener. Why? Everybody love a headband!!!
