'Strange Desires' -- New Song From L.A. Cobra
Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 04:30PM
L.A. Cobra is a glam band from Pretoria, South Africa. The group formed in 2005 and if you look through their social media - you will see they definitely look the part of an 80s throwback band!
Later this year, L.A. Cobra will release a new album called Superstition and one of the tracks is "Strange Desires." Martin Sweet of Crashdiet mixed the new album and you can definitely hear his influence in the track. The new album is available for pre-order now.

I am considering buying this. But I am hesitating to pull the monetary trigger.
By the way, love the band's name. And I once went on a crash diet. Prune juice, miso soup, and soy sauce. Don't. Do. It!!!!
but i just watched a vid that i wanted to share with you and start a conversation on why these 2 bands are hated.
ok... here's the vid.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMv-ka8S0IY
please watch it in full. i would have had a blast at this show! full disclosure I've been a limp fan since day 1
Wes Borland is an amazing guitarist.
I know we're not in our 20's anymore but check out the last song "break Stuff" and think how cool would it have been on stage!!
ok, I'm opening a can of worms here but the next band is "Nickleback" why the hate???

Which leads me to ask: why don't you ever submit stuff to Allyson for this site? You got some ideas. You are a gracious and kind interlocutor. Contribute on the front page some time. I, for one, would love it.
Borland is one odd and talented duck. I saw him with those biscuits that are flaccid at Aftershock. I was curious. And I will say this: watching how they (and he, in a full-body bondage suit) moved the crowd with their cover of "Killing in the Name" was an unexpected experience. I was gobsmacked. Flabbergasted. It was something to see.
Borland, John 5, and Biuckethead should do a tour together. It would be worth it just to people-watch!
