A Little More Nickelback News

An update to the Twitter tease I shared a few days ago: Nickelback will release the song "San Quentin" next week. The band tweeted an another apparent snippet of the song yesterday. They also filmed a video for "San Quentin" in Canada and invited fans to show up to get picked to be in the clip. The song will officially be released September 7 and the video a couple weeks after. A new album is expected in a few months.

I hear that the San Quentin in Canada is a much nicer prison: better health care, great syrup, and poutine every other meal! If that's requires a crime, I am willing to commit it!

Seriously, though, good marketing angle by the band. Gotta' promote yourself these days. And, no, I have not seen them. Never. Not once. But I will keep a lookout.
