RokIsland Fest 2024 Announced

I've been waiting for this announcement: the 2024 RokIsland Fest lineup is here! The fest takes place January 17-20, 2024 in Key West, Florida.

Headliners including Night Ranger, Tom Keifer, Bret Michaels and Stone Temple Pilots. Surprises to me include Don Felder, Trixter and Bowling for Soup. See the whole lineup below. General on-sale happens July 18.

a few head scratchers, but pretty solid lineup.

Agreed, Stu. The line-up seems to swing about a bit.

That said, last time I saw Felder (the other good guy who was once in the Eagles), he put on a good show. Mind you, that was a year or so before the pandemic. And, hey, he has a song called "Heavy Metal." So there's that too.

Do I need to see Lou Gramm? Not really, though he really has improved over the years and deserves a shot given what the band did to him. Do I need to see Trixter acoustic? No. Not at all. And Starship?!?! Now?!?! Or Stone Temple Auto-Pilot? Nah.

All of that also said, I think this would be a fun week-ish of music if the prices were really, really affordable. And, oh my God, these aren't really that affordable (the chart on their website is hilarious too), unless you go with the Pearl package and just say "well, it is five days of music with some bands I will not check out." By the way, adding "Pearl" to "GA" doesn't make it any less (or more, for that matter) general admission. Just say it: $100 bucks a day.
