To Coincide With The New Bon Jovi Album...
Friday, June 7, 2024 at 12:27PM
Bon Jovi's new album Forever is out now. Apparently JBJ's Nashville officially opens tomorrow, too. I honestly didn't know a Bon Jovi restaurant was coming, but it seems cool enough. It's on Broadway in Nashville, TN so crazy expensive real estate right there. Yes, I want to visit this place. Maybe during Bengals vs. Titans weekend this fall!

Haha!!
Clears up the question.
Ha ha quadruple!! you.
Funny thing to me is that years ago it was metalboy who posted things like Bon Anchovy, not him.
Thing is, I think (and I may be wrong) that I started the whole An Chovi thing, given how much I dislike their music (save for "In and Out of Love"), though admire their CEO's commitment to charity . . . and his obsessive focus on achieving stardom with a group of well-paid employees who helped him craft glossy pop-metal sing-a-long nuggets of pap.
And, to be fair, I've found his round of interviews in support of the documentary, My Cords Hurt (or whatever it is called), informative and entertaining in their own way. Lord knows I won't ever watch the darn thing. The discussion isn't as soft-focused and hagiographic as I was expecting. Sure, he dances around the whole Sambora issue when a simple, and honest, answer would suffice (though probably hurt the other party, so I respect him being vague). And he does a similar trick when it comes to Such. But he also seems incredibly circumspect. I suppose that is what happens when the thing that made you is no longer a thing you can trust. Age is a cruel thing. But he seems to be handling it well. I mean that sincerely.
For his fans, I suspect this documentary will be like candy. I just hope they all are taking their diabetes medication! With bad hips and other ailments, you can't forget to take care of yourselves.
Just another two cents. And a wink.
At least I got a Bryn Mawr diploma out of that relationship.
So I guess I will give you another, less suggestive, one: Wink Martindale is a legend!!! No need to defend the wink. Where others would squint, Winston wouldn't.
See? Classy, PC, fun. Costs us nothing. Nor did yours, Fletch. But, geesh. When is the autobiography coming out? And it won't have pictures, will it?
