But, seriously, Tramp has been playing this love/hate thing with White Lion to death, for decades now. I could appreciate some of his actual solo albums for what they were, even if they weren't my cup of tea. That said, I can now better understand why Bratta got so frustrated with Tramp and still remains silent even as Tramp puts his spin (I mean, explains the situation) on their band and Bratta's absence from the stage (which has been clearly and plainly documented without the need for Tramp's help).
I can respect Tramp's new spin on the songs too. Obviously, he isn't the Tramp of his youth. But please stop overplaying the novelty and amazing nature of these latter-stage career moves. You are most known for White Lion. You are trying to find a way to make a living. White Lion remains the way to do that. And, thus, your bind: respect Bratta's wishes or work for a living doing what you are know for doing.
Just don't act like fans of 'that' band are in any way confused about what you are doing or why Bratta, and LoMenzo (now and again of Megadeth), and D'Angelo (having worked with Stephen Pearcy and more recently involved with Legends of Classic Rock) have nothing to do with your current job. This is you, Tramp, going solo in a way that is still attached to that which made you famous. And I am not slagging you for doing it either. But I am slagging you for trying to spin it.
At least it isn't Return of the Pride, right? Then again, life is a Rock 'N' Roll Circuz, Tramp. Right? Right again.
