New Bon Jovi Book Will Celebrate 40 Years

Genesis Publications will release Bon Jovi Forever - a book celebrating the band's 40 years together. Jon Bon Jovi wrote some of the text too, so that is cool. It looks like this will be a nice coffee-table book. It will be signed, numbered and include a 7" vinyl too.

You can register your interest on the Genesis website to have a chance to buy when sales open. No price or official release date information available yet. This will sell out fast.

That said, a gal I once worked with in NYC is the cousin of David Bryan, told me a great story that really shows Jon Bon Jovi’s strength of character (something of a rarity these days) …

I think I’ve told this here before … At one point early in their career as a band, band members pleaded with Jon Bon Jovi to let Tico Torres go because he lacked the image needed to be in a Glam Metal band.

Jon Bon Jovi told them, “If he goes, I go!” and that was the end of that!

If the book’s got stuff like that in it, I’ll read it!
