Buy Fractional Shares In Two Bulletboys Recordings

I guess this is one way to finance a project. The Bulletboys are selling fractional pieces of two new recordings. One is a new recording of "Smooth Up In 'Ya" and the other is "I Know There's Something Going On." The fractional shares are via auction through SongVest and as an owner, you are entitled to some of the royalties.

On the SongVest site:

Bulletboys is sharing twenty-five percent (25%) of the streaming and other digital distribution royalties generated from the newly released version of “Smooth Up In Ya” so that fans can join in the overall success of the band. The “Smooth Up In Ya - 2024 Version” Music Royalty Asset is the underlying asset of the “Smooth Up In Ya - 2024 Version” Royalty Share Agreement (the “Agreement”). The Agreement contains 25% of the sound recording owner’s share of digital income from the sound recording “Smooth Up In Ya - 2024 Version,” recorded by artist Bulletboys. Current Financial Information: No royalties have been earned as of March 27, 2024

The bids aren't very expensive - when I looked I think "Smooth Up" was like $60 for a share. Don't expect to get rich here but the concept is kind of interesting.

The Bulletboys Announce Summer Tour Dates

The Bulletboys are about to head out on the road again. The band announced new tour dates yesterday. Looks like the shows are mostly on Friday or Saturday night. No shows close to me on this tranche of dates, but more shows are apparently coming. Seems like summer fun to me!
