Gojira Wins 'Best Metal Performance' Grammy

Remember when I said Gojira gave the best performance of the entire Olympics Opening Ceremony? Well, other folks agreed too, because the French band won the Grammy for "Best Metal Performance." So well deserved and I am excited for them.

Gojira At The Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony Was Badass

It's a busy time for my team at work and nearly all of us were in the office yesterday. This is very rare. So I turned on our massive television to the Olympics opening ceremonies at 1 pm ET and we let in the play in the background.

I'm working away when I hear heavy metal guitars. Believe me when I say I whipped my chair around so fast. I was astounded at just how perfectly bloody METAL Gojira's performance was! I mean, it was truly a wonderful spectacle and fit the theme so well. Did you miss it?
