Gojira At The Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony Was Badass

It's a busy time for my team at work and nearly all of us were in the office yesterday. This is very rare. So I turned on our massive television to the Olympics opening ceremonies at 1 pm ET and we let in the play in the background.

I'm working away when I hear heavy metal guitars. Believe me when I say I whipped my chair around so fast. I was astounded at just how perfectly bloody METAL Gojira's performance was! I mean, it was truly a wonderful spectacle and fit the theme so well. Did you miss it? YES! … It was incredible … I, too, put on the live coverage of the opening ceremonies … About 45 minutes in, voila! … TOTAL Metaldom on the most epic scale I’ve ever experienced!

Absolutely electrifying performance by Gojira in the most stunningly staged set piece ever witnessed … Think Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” set but instead with a very real ginormous building!
