A Reminder: Mick Jagger Is 80

Mick Jagger, frontman for the Rolling Stones, is 80. So is guitarist Keith Richards. I point this out along with the setlist from a recent Rolling Stones gig in Las Vegas. Notice the band did 19 tracks.

That is a long show - so good for the band and good for the fans! Better than some of our faves - who are decades younger!

The Rolling Stones Announce North American Tour Dates

Here it is: The Rolling Stones just announced their North American tour dates. The band is going out on the road in support of their new effort Hackney Diamonds.

The shows start in late April and run through early summer. The closest city to me is Cleveland. Tickets on sale Friday, December 1. These will be expensive!

'Angry' - The Rolling Stones

"Angry" is the first single from the upcoming new Rolling Stones album Hackney Diamonds. The band released the official video for the song yesterday - and I like how they used old and new shots of the band. A smart way to include Charlie Watts of course. For those mocking the band releasing new music after all these years, I get it but I'm still excited for Hackney Diamonds. Mick Jagger is 80 and out there making music and jumping around stage. Good for him!

The Rolling Stones Announce New Album

It's been 18 years since The Rolling Stones released an album of all new material... and now we are getting new music from the legendary band. Hackney Diamonds will debut live tomorrow night on a YouTube livestream with Jimmy Kimmel. Some of the songs will feature late drummer Charlie Watts. A tour is also around the corner, apparently. Gotta say, I'm interested! Livestream details below!
