'Ah! Leah!' - New Ellefson Cover

Ellefson, the band fronted by Dave Ellefson just released a cover of "Ah! Leah!" featuring Chip Z'Nuff and Stephen Shareaux. It is an interesting - and smart - pairing for Ellefson to team up with the Enuff Z'Nuff and Kik Tracee vocalists.

"Ah! Leah!" was originally recorded by Donnie Iris.

'Forgiveness' - David Lee Roth, New Track

Diamond David Lee Roth dropped a new track yesterday called "Forgiveness." Roth released the song "Lavender Forgiveness" earlier this year featuring the music of Taylor Swift. Now "Forgiveness" just has acoustic guitar and no Swift.

It is an interesting time of year for Roth to release such a song - I am taking it as autobiographical with lyrics about using cocaine and making mistakes and asking family members for forgiveness. Dave doesn't usually explain his lyrics - so we should just be glad we have a new track from him. Dude has gotten prolific!

Since Metalboy! mentioned his preference for the Stryper version of "Winter Wonderland" in yesterday's comments section, I decided to look the tune up. Even better, here's a live version of the song when Stryper played for a big crowd in Puerto Rico back in 2003.

It's a crazy good performance and a tolerable use of a Christmas song. Merry Christmas eve, everyone!

'All I Want for Christmas Is You' - Hair Metal Version?

Nick Harrison posts all kinds of content on his socials, switching up styles of songs to other genres. Just in time for the holiday season, he made a hair metal version of Mariah Carey's hit "All I Want For Christmas Is You." Gotta say, it's pretty good. It really starts rocking around the one minute mark - some signature hair metal high notes there! What do you think?

More Details On Jack Russell Tribute

The public memorial for late Great White singer Jack Russell is set for January 14, 2025 at the Whisky-A-Go-Go.

A few more musicians have been announced including Nate Peck, the singer of Firehouse. Peck is in his 20s and Russell was his musical idol, so his performance should be a nice tribute. General admission tickets are $35 and the money supports Lewy Body Dementia, which Russell had.

L.A. Guns Announce Album, Tour

I love cats so calling an album Leopard Skin is pretty cool! L.A. Guns will release that new album next year and hit the road in support of the new work, too. I hope Ohio gets dates in the second leg.
