Video of Motley Crue Accepting Valentine Award At SSMF

The other night, the members of Motley Crue accepted the Elmer Valentine Award to help kick off the Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF). Our girl Kari attended the fest and saw Motley's performance, so she'll be giving us the full details.

What's happened to Vince's brain? Wait, we found out a long time ago he doesn't really have one.

When I saw them at Outlaw Jam, he seemed sober as a nun.

Here he's just trashed. Even the reporter had to acknowledge it by saying Neil "started the party early".

You'd think these guys could do a little better at the speechifying. Didn't Nikki say anything? After all, he's supposed to be the "brains" behind the operation.

p.s. And where's Vince's "Blondtourage"?

And what's with Dane Cook? The guys gotta read from his notes? Does he even know these guys? You'd think they'd have a better host for this -- someone who's actually funny. Were they roasted by some of their pals? It will be interesting to see what Kari has to say about it all.

p.s. Sorry to sound so disappointed and I hope what Kari experienced was better than the impression we get from this clip. They really could have had some fun at this thing. If the band had better handlers and public relations people this would have been a real opportunity to make some REAL news. Instead, they, and we, missed the opportunity.
