The Bulletboys Are Back, Ya'll!

HOLLYWOOD, CA (May 11, 2015) – The BULLETBOYS are back and ready to tear the house down with their new MASSIVE release ELEFANTE on Cleopatra/Deadline Records, June 9th 2015. This long awaited album shows that the BULLETBOYS are unstoppable with their grinding hard rock. Singer Marq Torien's vocals hit every note with the power that is his trademark. “Can't wait for our fans to hear this album. I put my heart and soul into this music,” exclaims lead singer Marq Torien. “This album has sick peaks and valleys ... it is NOT a linear album. A straight out labor of love that I've dedicated to my amazing father, all of our Families and our unfaltering BULLETBOYS fans and friends.”

The band consists of founding member Marq Torien (Vocals/Lead Guitar), Nick Rozz (Guitar), Chad MacDonald (Bass) and Shawn Duncan (Drums). All members pouring their heart and soul into the group’s first album of original material since 2009. ELEFANTE was produced by Matt Thorne (Trapt/Disturbed), Marq Torien and engineered by Ryan Greene (Alice Cooper/Lita Ford/Cheap Trick/Usher). The great Anthony Focx (Miley Cyrus/Aerosmith/Santana/Buckcherry) mastered this new work of art. “Working with the Bulletboys was an amazing experience,” explains Ryan Greene. “Most singers, from back in the 80's, were pretty good but I will tell you Marq knocked it out of the park on this record. His power and passion was second to none and he can sing in tune! No auto-tune needed, he's the real freak’n deal.  If you think for a second this is going to be some rehashed 80's record you are completely wrong!”

Hopefully this new record will be good. I don't think they've ever topped their first record which was an absolute masterpiece.

See, Bob, I actually prefer the 2ns cd 'Freak Show' to the first, and I think their 3rd cd "ZA ZA" is criminally underrated. I have all the Bulletboys albums and, to me, they are all good "except maybe Acid Monkey". Their newest release "10 cent billionaire" was very good as well!

Kenny, my friend, I also really liked "10 Cent Billionaire." I think their first album holds such a special place for me because it reminds me of many many many great college parties where that album was the soundtrack.

Look, Kenny O, you and I RARELY disagree but that first album is not only superior to any of their subsequent material but much of the material of most of our other favorite bands as well! These guys rule on one song alone... "Smooth Up In 'Ya!!"! Case closed!

First album is their best. Absolutely amazing band, very underrated.

Excellent first album and some great tracks thereafter. Torien is still a beast live (and was surprisingly sweet and shy the time I met him, stories notwithstanding), regardless the revolving door of musicians who back him.

But here again is the majestic use of hyperbole in a PR: "long awaited"?!!? Matt Thorne probably had more anticipation waiting for his check to clear than most fans did waiting for this release.

Still, I will give it a listen and hope to see them live in support of this album (well, really, in support of the songs that they usually play).

More like "Bullerboy" is back. Like others have said, the first album was a monster, the others were hit and miss. Its a shame that Mick Sweda, Lonnie Vencent and Jimmy D can't make up with Mark. They would clean up on the festivals if they could put their differences aside and just ROCK!

Hear, hear, Jeff!

What Jeff said. The original lineup was a machine. They just kicked ass. I always thought their cover of Tom Waits' "Hold On St. Christopher" from Freakshow was a masterpiece. It just grooved.

Indeed, Gary... As has been discussed here before. Now THAT'S an interesting topic... "Unexpected 'Metal Covers'". This is certainly one of THE BEST in that category! I wonder if Templeman or Torien cooked that up.
