This Is Horrible: Stephen Pearcy Edition

RATT did a show Wednesday night in Huntington, New York. To say Stephen Pearcy looked and sounded rough is an understatement. He needs help and I hope he gets it. (Edit: looks like the original video of the incident was removed from YouTube).

Pearcy has issues!?!? I thought he was the protector of Ratt. Sadly, this isn't all that unexpected.

Somewhere, Blotz is giggling into his red Solo cup. Juan, you better hope that solo album does well.

I have been a Ratt fan since 83. I was offered a free ticket to the show, and after I called the venue and found out their was 2 openers I passed. I would not get back to the city until 2a on a work night, and it didn't seem worth it for only 2 original band members. Never in a million years did I think 1 of them would tank the gig. I have never been happier that I was responsible in my life! The Paramount is an awesome, top of the line pro venue ran by Live Nation. That was a horrible representation for the new line up, and this gig will have repercussions,

Get Warren and Blotz back in the band and re-group! Still a fan, but no more live gigs for me unless it's a festival.

I was there! It was a complete 🚂 wreck to say the least. I walked out halfway through. Others found it funny. I didn’t want to remember my favorite band this way. The band actually sounded good. Juan was trying to do the vocals and kept telling Pearcy to stop but he was beyond incoherent.

So sad! Love RATT in it’s classic line-up as one of The Real Big Four (Crüe, Cinderella, RATT, Poison) as I was fortunate enough to see them point blank at Hammerjack’s with Robbin Crosby in 1990. I also got to see them virtually with the same line-up (with Cavazo replacing King - RIP) when Croucier rejoined.

That was their M3 reunion gig a while back, the first time Croucier played with them in 19 years and even though Pearcy missed a few notes his overall performance came across as successful as did the rest of the band. I thought it was amazing! Totally headliner worthy!!!

BUT these guy’s pis*d me off to no end when they cancelled their Monsters of Rock Cruise gig a few years back right before the ship departed. Of course, the promoters totally let everybody down because they did nothing to compensate passengers (free drink tickets?) to offset not delevering on the main reason everyone booked the cruise.

Now they DID do a make up on on maiden voyage of The Monsters of Rock Cruise West Coast Edition before the ship left port out of L.A. but I missed out on that and now it’s been downhill ever since.

Just think of it, one of the last bands with a classic line-up and a legit excuse to be minus one but then bringing in a top Hair Metal hired gun, making one of the best Metal Albums in recent memory and then slowly but surely allowing it all to turn to sh*t, this being the lowest point yet!

Like Sparky sez, get it together, boyz! Time is running out!
