2020 Rock Hall Voting Closes Soon
Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:02AM
Voting for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame fan vote closes in six days. Right now, The Dave Matthews Band is leading with Pat Benatar in second place. The Doobie Brothers are my choice and they are third. Judas Priest rounds out the top five. You can vote every day. Might as well make a choice.
Only 6 days left in the #RockHall2020 @KlipschAudio Fan Vote. Who are you hoping to see top the list? Show us what drives you to vote using #WhyIVote and vote daily until January 10th. https://t.co/sNGpOuVaCH pic.twitter.com/dfrHi6soBa

🙁 Miss these guys
The Doobies are a shoe-in and it would be great to see Judas Priest get in but I feel like they are a long shot, given The Hall’s penchant for overlooking Heavy Metal acts with a few rare exceptions, a reality I wish wasn’t true.
Do the right thing, and induct them before Glen is gone. Plus, what a moment that would be if Halford & Co. did the right thing, too, and have K.K. back up on stage, reunionizing with the band to perform should they be inducted!
Also, as typical of The Hall, there are SO many other bands that should get in BEFORE Pat Benatar, who at her best, was nothing more than a cheap Blondie knock off with one good song, “Heartbreaker” (though, I’ll admit she has a very well trained voice), or the insufferable Dave Matthews Band, arbiters of some of THE most BORING music EVER recorded.
Viva Priest!
