Bernie Sanders Inauguration Meme Goes Viral... And Metal

So folks usually get dressed up to attend a presidential inaugural. I mean, especially the folks that actually get to sit on the platform with the President and all that... but Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders does not care about fashion and would just rather be warm (and left alone).

A photo of Bernie bundled up in huge mittens became a viral meme yesterday during Joe Biden's inauguration. Our friends at Loudwire put Bernie on some iconic Metal album covers. The only problematic thing about what Bernie is wearing are those darn gloves. They make handling a pokin' stick very difficult, esp. in cold weather!

I wish someone had placed him on Deep Purple's _Bern_. Now that would have been priceless! And candles are warm to boot!

Regardless of where anybody falls on the political spectrum, I think you have to respect Bernie for taking a stance, no matter how controversial it may be, and sticking to it. That's something that cannot be said for pretty much everybody else in public office.
