Glam Slam Festival Postponed Due To COVID-19

Weeks ago, I posted about the Glam Slam Festival in Belgium set for September 2021. The event has now been moved to 2022 because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and Delta variant. An exact date for the rescheduled show has not yet been announced. Crashdiet was on the bill which really caught my eye. Stay tuned.

Belgium is a hoot to visit! Attending a festival like this would be awesome (again, I have yet to attend a festival in Europe . . . bucket-list stuff!). And it is an excuse to go somewhere where putting mayo on fries is done as a cultural experience. So another plus!

But they are smart to cancel with things so up in the air, esp. in Europe (though places in our great country aren't exactly fairing well right now, for some obvious reasons). With Delta, Delta-plus (you get free snacks), and Lambda (I think that is a frat house near where my tent is located) all swirling about, who can be certain right now?

Who? I will tell you who . . . Lollapalooza!!! That was certainly a large crowd. And good for them. I hope they all bring back fond memories and nothing else. Me? I am planning to attend my first concert in a few weeks, inside, in an area. Right now, I feel less certain about that than I did a month ago. But who knows?

I am not cowering in fear. I am still abiding by the idea of calculated risks and thinking of the common good (you all remember that, right?). But, geesh, when will this end?!?!

Here’s hoping that Alpha, Zeta,Sigma, and Mu (attorneys at law) stay away from the tent Him. I’m personally hoping that the Jessie Katsopolous strain stays dormant, or there’ll be a full house for sure (cue the rim shot). All kidding aside, Stay safe out there folks.

Gary, all kidding aside, I actually use an organic Katsopolis on my fries when I am not in Belgium.

And, in all seriousness, I won't ever mention those attorneys by name . . . they royally messed up my divorce!
