Trans-Siberian Orchestra, 'Christmas Canon Rock'

I figured we should discuss some interesting, metal-inspired Christmas songs this week. Today, I give you Joe Satriani's take on the holiday classic, "Silent Night." The track is from the album Merry Axemas. What do you think?
The other day I heard that blasted song "The Fox" by comedy duo Ylvis while flipping channels. Now it is stuck in my head. In all seriousness, the song has a great club beat, but man... once it's stuck, you're screwed. So now I've doomed you, too! Not Glam, but I had to share. Happy Sunday!
"The music business is Bullshit!!! For those of you who have kids...Tell them NOT to get into this bizz!!! Try anything but this business!!!! Been in this game forever! Nothing changes, just the same ol F#9!!! Lies, deceit and treachery...Have at it!!!! Music echoes life? Who ever said that is full of it!!! 4real....Have a good one...I love to be lied to. Especially from the ones you trust the most!! Xo"
That's all. I don't usually post gossipy notes on here, but this definitely piqued my interest for sure. The music business can be ugly, so I'm sure a decent amount of drama went down to push Marq to make such a public comment on Facebook. Whatever happened, I hope it all works out for Marq and the band.
KIX recently posted a couple new songs online. "Top Down" is the first track posted below. The song will be on the band's forthcoming CD. I guess the guys wanted to try it out, so they performed it live very recently.
"Top Down" is posted below and I'd like your opinion. Personally, I like the song a lot.
Here's "Can't Stop the Show." This one sounds darker than your average KIX tune, but good nonetheless. I mean, how can it not be good?! It's KIX!
My husband wanted me to post this video of The Used and My Chemical Romance doing a cover of "Under Pressure" from a couple years ago. I guess the video was on MTV last night. He watched it and thought I should share it here. I told him a lot of you guys (me included) don't dig toboggan bands, but alas, here we are. Discuss.
KISS are finally in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Joining them in the 2014 class are Nirvana, Cat Stevens, Hall & Oates, Linda Rondstadt and Peter Gabriel.
I knew KISS would get in eventually. I also knew that Nirvana would get in on this first ballot. Go ahead and discuss.
I know a lot of you have comments on both KISS and Nirvana. I'm only going to inject my opinion on Hall & Oates: I love them and I'm glad they are part of the 2014 class. I know people are already grumbling that Hall & Oates don't belong in the Rock Hall. My argument is that half the artists already inducted aren't "rock" acts anyway, so why not make room for some cool Hall & Oates? After all, they did give us "She's Gone." The tune is one of my favorite songs of all time.
